Product Shooting : Coca-Cola

I was trying to shoot another basic ad with Coca-Cola as my product model. The shooting was carried at CH's house by using his so-called "light box". Good idea actually when you are able to spend a little to create something outstanding.

So now, let me introduce to you the simple posing of mini Cola-Cola. Let's have a look on the following three photos:-
Photo 1: Single Posing

Photo 2 : Twins Posing

Photo 3 : The three identical brothers

With three different type of basic posing, one can be more creative by thinking out of the box. So, what are you waiting for? Let's grab one and start to drink.....cool!!!

Flash bouncing @ Luna Bar

The day after a most memorable meal and sky viewing with Pei Shin at KL tower on 11th June, we met up with friends at Luna Bar.

With the request from the ladies, I shot their memorable moment... (From left: CC, Siao Hui, Pei Shin & Soo May)

Shutter speed 1/60s @ f 4.8 with off-camera diffused flash bounced to ceiling.

Dripping Water

Venue : Home

My first shot. Thought that it won't be successful at the first time, but who knows....it made me stunned. (But subsequent shot still fail until I manage to get a right timing...he he!!)

Another shot with different timing and got this pattern.

A hole created after the water dripped into surface water. What a right timing...huh!!!

Two of the darker photos. It was done by adjusting WB to tungsten to make the blue water more blueish.

I like this dripping & colour style. With applying some colour to the water, it looks more attractive rather than just applying the ordinary flash.

Wow!! this dripping fell on the water surface and created a pattern, saw something?? Doesn't it look like a blueish hibiscus??

Well.... after a few set-up and trial, I have learned some lessons from these kind of shooting. It made me need to:
1. Be patience
2. Shoot with right timing
3. Prepare unused cloth (It become your good buddy when you are in trouble, it happened to me)
4. Improve in creativity (I'll try other shot then....)

Watching the Watch

One day, I was hardly to kill my time. It has been a whole boring day staying at home without going anywhere. Why.....? it was just because I have to wait until my flight time to depart to Kuala Lumpur that day.

Suddenly, an idea of home studio sparked my mind. Without further delay, I hunted something that could become my model. So as I was watching my watch like trying to hide from me, I quickly grabbed it and at last became the victim. Let's see how was my watch performance in front of the lens as below:

"Tada!!!.......Introducing.... Casio the wrist watch."
(This was shot with a flash light filled with colour cup and a small basket with holes to block some light to create unique shadow falling on the black card. )

A series has been snapped and I selected this for editing and turned it into basic ad style.

Haha....now let's expose the technique of my combine colourful lighting. A good kick start for me too.
